If you or someone you love is aging or medically compromised and wishes to stay at home for as long they can, Mullaney’s Medical can help. We offer a complimentary home assessment – our Home Sweet Home Consultation. At your convenience, one of our CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) Consultants will visit you, your family and/or your caregiver in your home, assess your living environment and make recommendations that will make your home more comfortable, accessible and safer.

Mullaney’s Home Sweet Home Consultant will perform a comprehensive assessment throughout your entire home and create a detailed report including recommendations for the following:

• Accessibility throughout the home
• Getting in and out of the home
• Getting in and out of their vehicle
• Mobility
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Toileting
• Cooking
• General Household Tasks
• Medication Compliance

Our consultant will make recommendations for adaptive and assistive devices and equipment, as well as ways to improve safety, prevent falls and ease accessibility in and around the home. A complete evaluation report detailing these recommendations will be mailed within a week of the assessment with a follow-up conversation.

Mullaney’s goal is to provide seniors and patients throughout the Tri-state with the tools and information they need to remain in their homes and stay as independent and active as possible, for as long as possible. Proper adaptive and assistive devices can be purchased and, if necessary, installed rather inexpensively – often with minimal impact or modification to the home. Simple changes and the right information can restore independence and dignity and provide comfort and peace of mind for the senior or patient and their family. The assessment and evaluation report are free, the peace of mind is priceless.
